12 Questions the media must ask Food Not Bombs RGV, Red Star Texas
For reporters assigned to cover the upcoming Hamas rally at Archer Park but may not know a whole lot about the conflict, here's what organizers, attendees must be asked.
Organizers for the so-called “Palestine Solidarity Rally” have been getting away with free press from ignorant interviewers who don’t know what questions to ask them. The following are clear and specific questions Food Not Bombs RGV and Red Star Texas, as well as attendees must answer. (Grant no anonymity.) They’re likely to dodge these questions and give evasive replies, but their inevitable dishonesty will be valuable in exposing the face of Jew hatred in the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas.
Question #1:
Do you call for, or support calls for, the destruction of Israel?
Question #2:
Do you hold Hamas in any way responsible for the Israeli Defense Forces’ operations in Gaza?
Question #3:
Would the IDF be conducting military operations in Gaza if Hamas did not slaughter over 1,000 Jews in a single day?
Question #4:
What do you make of Hamas and its allies placing military weapons and operations equipment in civilian areas, using civilians as human shields? Including telling Gazans not to flee targeted areas, in order to serve their propaganda purposes?
Question #5:
Do you agree that hatred of Jewish people, in particular, poses a grave threat to societies where Jew hatred flourishes?
Question #6:
Are you aware that Hamas and its allies in the region, like the Islamist government in Iran, calls for the destruction of Israel? Do you support this aim?
Question #7:
Do you agree that there is a sharp rise in Jew hatred worldwide and that it is a very concerning and grave problem?
Question #8:
Do you support Hamas and/or think they should remain in power in Gaza?
Question #9:
Can Jewish people and supporters of Israel feel comfortable and safe attending your rallies to just listen and observe?
Question #10:
Is executing entire families, including children and the elderly, a legitimate form of “resistance” against “settler colonialism” in your opinion?
Question #11:
Specifically for Red Star Texas: Who runs this “nonprofit” organization? Who are the board members?
Question #12:
Specifically, to organizers: Do any of you have ties with members of Hamas, Hezbollah or Islamic Jihad in Gaza, Lebanon or the West Bank? Was this rally coordinated with any of those groups or their affiliates?
