Reflecting on my piece yesterday about the right-wing commentator, Candace Owens, it dawned on me that the difference between right-wing and left-wing antisemitism is the same difference between religious and cultural antisemitism.

For reactionary Catholic Christians like Owens and Tucker Carlson, the Jews are Christ killers and as she often puts it, “Satanic”. For middle-class liberal and radical antisemites like Greta Thunberg or Medea Benjamin, they culturally boycott Israel in places like academia and other institutions.

Then, I also realized that for the Islamists, they dislike Jews and Israel for both religious and cultural reasons.
