Two Sides Of A Fake Coin
Supposed "anti-corruption advocates" push for Proposition A & B in McAllen, while local ruling class derides it. Both are wrong, lead to dead-ends.

Working-class people in McAllen and around the Rio Grande Valley should not be taken-in by the tug-of-war between nonprofit activists and local capitalists arguing over “Proposition A and B”, and should vote “No” on both measures.
A “nonprofit” organization based in Austin that has received hundreds of thousands from capitalist interests, called Ground Game Texas, got a proposal to limit campaign contributions of city officials to $500 on the ballot. They argue this would somehow even-out the playing field and take on “corruption.” The insinuation is that this would help workers take on the capitalist class.
The other proposal (B) would allow for officials to be recalled and allow citizens to call for referendums.
Meanwhile, the local capitalist rulers have lined up their assets in media and propaganda to oppose the measure, under the guise of “concerned McAllen …
